Privacy & cookie policy

At Mitteva we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose and what rights you have, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

You can request the owner's full identifying and tax details, free of charge, by writing to hello@mitteva.com.

2. Data we process

We process the data you provide voluntarily, mainly through the contact form:

• Identification data: name.
• Contact data: email address.
• The content of the message you send us.
• Technical browsing data (IP address, device type) for security and statistics.

3. Purpose

• To respond to your enquiries and quote requests.
• To provide and manage the contracted services.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent when you send us an enquiry, on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures when you request a quote, and on Mitteva's legitimate interest in site security.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, for the legal periods that apply to the contractual relationship. It is then deleted or anonymised.

6. Recipients and processors

We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. We use technology providers (for example, hosting and database) that act as data processors with the appropriate contractual safeguards and, where relevant, safeguards for international transfers.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@mitteva.com. If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, including encryption in transit and access control.

9. Cookies

This site uses technical cookies necessary for it to work, which require no consent. We use no advertising cookies.

We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the site is used and to measure how well our ads work, only if you accept in our cookie banner. Until you accept we apply Google's consent mode: no cookies are set and no advertising identifiers are used. If you accept, its cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gcl_*) identify browsers, not people, and last up to 2 years; the data may be processed outside the EEA under the safeguards Google provides.

You can accept or reject with a single click, and change your mind whenever you want from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. If you reject after having accepted, we delete those cookies.

Independently of all this, we measure page visits with our own cookieless analytics: it stores no cookies and never records your IP address, only an anonymised (hashed) version, so it needs no consent.
